Sumer Sayın studied Painting at Marmara University in İstanbul, Turkey and graduated as a Master of Fine Arts from Oslo Natonal Academy of the Arts. She received the Res Artis Award in Skopje Biennial for free Dimensional / Flux Factory artist in community programme in New York (2009).

Her works were exhibited at Skopje Biennial (2009), “2,5 D”, Soapbox Gallery, New York (2010); ”The Knowledge Series 1 / Production”, Plato Sanat, Istanbul (2011); “For a Moment”, Art On, Istanbul (2012).
