| One of the oldest museum formations has been formed in Sinop in 1921. In 1970 the museum was brought in the present building. A variety of coins and artifacts are on display from the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman period as well as the artifacts and amphorae from the Black Sea. In the Icon section of the museum a rich collection of icons are shown. |
