Teresa Henriques

Teresa Henriques (born 1978, Portugal), has been living and working in New York since 2006 and is represented by Rooster Gallery (NY) and Pedro Oliveira Gallery (Porto). She holds a MFA in Fine Arts by the School of Visual Arts of New York (2010) for which she was awarded a grant by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Luso Americana Foundation and a BFA in Sculpture and Visual Arts by AR.CO in Lisbon (2004). In 2006/07, she did the Location One residency in New York for which also was awarded a grant by
the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Luso Americana Foundation.

Recent exhibitions include: Problem, Solo-show at Rooster Gallery, NYC (2011); Use the Resources, Soloshow at Pedro Oliveira Gallery, Porto(2010); The Artist Is Not Present curated by Tali Wertheimer and Susi Kenna, Meulensteen Gallery, NYC (2012); Plus One (curated by Dan Cameron), Perry Rubenstein Gallery, NCY (2010); Lines to follow, Centre culturel Calouste Gulbekian, Paris (2010).
